PNC Park

Conditional. One bag per guest is allowed, provided it is soft-sided and 16" x 16" x 8" or smaller; all bags are subject to search. "Each guest is permitted to bring one bag into the ballpark (purses, fanny packs, backpacks, etc.) provided that the bag is soft-sided and 16" x 16" x 8" or smaller. Bags exceeding these dimensions will not be permitted inside the ballpark." Max size: 16" x 16" x 8", soft-sided only. Max quantity: 1 per guest. Exceptions: Diaper bags and medically necessary bags are permitted after being searched by security, regardless of size.

Conditional. Sealed, clear plastic, disposable water bottles up to 24 ounces are permitted. "Guests are permitted to bring bottled water... Water bottles should not exceed 24 ounces in size, and must be clear, plastic, sealed and disposable." Two water bottle filling stations are also available (Sections 115 and 315). Max size: 24 oz. max, clear plastic, sealed, disposable. Exceptions: Children's juice boxes and water needed for medical purposes are also permitted.

Allowed. Outside food is permitted, except in the Home Plate Club, Suite Level, and Left Field Lounge & Porch areas. "Guests are permitted to bring bottled water and food." This is notably more permissive than most NFL venues. Exceptions: Outside food and beverage is not permitted entry into the Home Plate Club, Suite Level, or Left Field Lounge & Porch areas.

Allowed. Bags containing medical equipment, monitors, pumps, prosthetics, and prescription medication are permitted after being searched, regardless of the standard bag size limit. "Bags carried for medical reasons may be brought into PNC Park after being properly searched by security... Over the counter medications are generally not considered a 'medical reason' unless accompanied by medical directives from a physician." Exceptions: Over-the-counter medications generally require a physician's directive to qualify.

Not Allowed. Outside alcoholic beverages are not permitted; cans and glass bottles of any kind are also banned. "Alcoholic beverages, carbonated beverages, sports drinks, cans, glass bottles and thermoses... are not allowed." Buyers who appear under 30 must show photo ID, purchases are capped at 2 per transaction, and concession-stand alcohol sales end after the 7th inning (select bars continue serving until game end).

Conditional. Soft-sided coolers are allowed if they meet the standard one-bag 16" x 16" x 8" size limit; hard-sided coolers, ice packs, and cooler inserts are not permitted. "Soft-sided coolers and soft-sided briefcases are permitted. Hard-sided coolers and briefcases, ice packs and cooler inserts are NOT permitted." Max size: 16" x 16" x 8", soft-sided only.

Conditional. Strollers are welcome inside PNC Park but are prohibited on the ballpark's escalators; guests with strollers must use elevators or the rotundas instead. "We prohibit strollers and wheelchairs on our escalators and ask that guests who have these items with them use the elevators or rotundas throughout PNC Park." No official Pirates material specifically addresses wagons.

Allowed. PNC Park provides dedicated nursing spaces in partnership with Mamava, and breast pumps/supplies are exempt from standard bag restrictions. A nursing pod is located on the Highmark Riverwalk near the STEM Zone, and a nursing room is in the Guest Relations office at the bottom of the Home Plate Rotunda. Breastfeeding/breast-pump supplies are also explicitly listed as an accepted diaper-bag and medical-bag exception.

Allowed. Wheelchairs are available for guest use, and mobility devices are accommodated throughout the ballpark; wheelchairs are barred from escalators (use elevators/rotundas instead). "A limited number of wheelchairs are available to transport guests to their seating location." A valid credit card or photo ID is required as a deposit for a wheelchair loan for the full event; guests can also arrange one at any entrance.

Not Allowed. Electric scooters and hoverboards are banned as hazardous/disruptive items.

Conditional. Personal-use cameras and video recorders are permitted, but hard-sided cases, tripods, and monopods are not. "Guests are welcome to bring cameras and video recorders into the ballpark for personal use only." Commercial use of photos/video without written Pirates consent is prohibited. Exceptions: Personal use only; no commercial use.

Not Allowed. Drones are explicitly listed as a prohibited hazardous/disruptive item. Drones appear on the list of items that are hazardous, dangerous, or disruptive and therefore banned from PNC Park, alongside items like fireworks and laser pointers.

Conditional. Umbrellas are allowed inside PNC Park but may only be opened during rain delays, not during live play. "Umbrellas are permitted inside PNC Park... umbrellas may not be opened during play. Umbrellas may be opened during rain delays."

Conditional. Banners and signs are welcome as long as they are 4' x 8' or smaller, don't block sightlines, and aren't hung on fences, railings, or fascia. "Banners/signs may not be placed anywhere inside the playing field or within the sightline of the batter... may not be hung on any ballpark fence, railing, or fascia... must be 4' x 8' or smaller." No official Pirates source specifically addresses noisemakers (air horns, cowbells, etc.). Max size: 4' x 8' max for banners/signs.

Not Allowed. Weapons of any kind are prohibited. "Weapons and other dangerous or hazardous items are not permitted in PNC Park."

Not Allowed. Smoking and vaping/e-cigarette use of any kind are prohibited as part of PNC Park's guest conduct policy. "Using tobacco products of any kind including e-cigarettes and smokeless tobacco" is listed among prohibited guest conduct that can result in ejection.

Conditional. Trained service animals are welcome and must stay leashed/harnessed with their handler; regular pets are not permitted except at select team-designated 'Pup Nights.' "Service animals that are specifically trained to provide assistance to an individual with a disability are welcome in PNC Park." A service animal relief area is located outside the Right Field Gate. Exceptions: Non-service dogs are allowed only on designated 'Pup Nights.'

Not Allowed. There is no re-entry once a guest has exited PNC Park. "Please note that there is no re-entry once a guest has exited PNC Park."

Not Allowed. Balloons, Bluetooth speakers, fireworks, frisbee discs, footballs, inflatable balls, laser pointers, and motorcycle helmets are all prohibited as hazardous or disruptive items. "For the comfort and security of all Guests, hazardous or disruptive items cannot be brought into PNC Park."
