Wyoming venues — what you can bring in

Clear plastic/vinyl/PVC bag no larger than 12" x 6" x 12", or a one-gallon clear freezer bag, or a small clutch up to 5" x 7", one of each per person.

There are no provisions to check items at the entry to an event; fans must return prohibited items to their car or discard them.

Gates/lots open at 8am; mobile or print-at-home passes required; single-game parking is available in Brown, VA, Summit View, and High Plains RV lots; free ADA parking is in lots AA, D, S, FA, H, and Cowboy Field.

Outside beverages and food are prohibited, but seven water fountains are located around the venue in addition to concessions.

Outside food is prohibited in the stadium; concession stands are available on each level.

Medical items and devices are exempt from the clear-bag size limits but must go through the bag-check line at the entry gate for inspection.

No outside alcohol is allowed inside the stadium; beer is sold inside (21+, ID plus wristband, 2-at-a-time max, sales end 3rd quarter). In parking lots, beer/wine/malt beverages are permitted starting several hours before kickoff depending on start time, with no kegs.

Coolers are explicitly listed as a prohibited item.

Folding baby strollers (collapsible umbrella-style) are allowed if they fit under the seat; non-collapsible strollers must be returned to the vehicle. Wagons are not addressed in any official source found.

ADA seating is available on the upper/lower west and lower east sides, with ADA elevators, golf-cart shuttles from concourse ramps, and free ADA parking in designated lots.

Cameras and binoculars are allowed without cases (worn or handheld); flash photography and video cameras are not permitted.

Drones are prohibited from flying within 3 nautical miles of the stadium on gameday, per FAA regulation.

Umbrellas are listed as a prohibited item on the current gameday page, superseding an older official page that had stated open umbrellas were permitted.

Artificial noisemakers (cowbells, horns, thundersticks, whistles) are not permissible per Mountain West Conference policy; flags or banners on sticks or poles are prohibited at all UW athletic events, though non-commercial/non-political signs are allowed if they don't block views.

Blankets and coats are permitted if carried over the shoulder or loosely at entry, subject to search.

Weapons are explicitly listed as a prohibited item at all entries. Wyoming's campus-carry law (HB 172, effective July 1, 2025) generally allows Wyoming-permit holders to carry concealed handguns in most campus buildings, but explicitly excludes War Memorial Stadium during any athletic event where alcohol is currently being served — since alcohol is sold at football games, concealed carry is effectively prohibited on gamedays under this alcohol-triggered carve-out.

Smoking of cigarettes, cigars, or pipes is prohibited in the stadium except in designated areas; neither the current nor prior official page explicitly resolves the status of vaping/e-cigarettes.

Animals are not permitted except registered service animals and team mascots with official handlers.

Re-entry is not allowed for all UW athletic events, with limited case-by-case accommodation only through gate supervisors.

As of September 2025, entry points expanded with new scanners at Gate 6 ("Tailgate Alley") and a reopened Gate 1; mobile tickets must be in Apple/Google Wallet, as screenshots are not accepted.
