Weapons

New Mexico's campus-firearms statute (NMSA 1978 §30-7-2.4) makes it a petty misdemeanor to carry a firearm on the premises of a public post-secondary institution, with only a narrow exception for adults 19+ carrying in a private vehicle — the firearm may not be carried on foot or into a facility.
