Kentucky venues — what you can bring in

One large clear bag (one-gallon Ziploc-style or up to 12" x 6" x 12") plus a small clutch is allowed; backpacks and drawstring/cinch bags are not permitted even if clear.

One unopened bottle of water under one liter may be brought in, and free water refill stations are available on the concourses.

Outside glass or plastic bottles, cans, and beverages of any kind are prohibited; water fountains are on the concourses and free ice/water cups are offered at concessions when open.

Medically necessary items such as epi pens, breastfeeding equipment, canes, and wheelchairs are permitted, with guests directed to enter through accessible Gates 1.5, 3.5, or 9.5 for screening.

Bags containing medically necessary items are exempt from the standard clear-bag size/type rule but must be inspected and tagged at a designated gate.

Outside alcohol is prohibited; beer and seltzer are sold inside the stadium with a limit of two per ID, with sales ending at the end of the 3rd quarter.

Outside alcohol is prohibited and bringing it in or taking it out can lead to removal or arrest; alcohol is sold inside from gates-open until the end of the 3rd quarter, limited to two drinks per purchase, 21+ with ID required from every buyer.

Falls under the general "illegal drugs or chemicals" prohibited-item clause; the university's Code of Student Conduct separately bans marijuana possession campus-wide even for Kentucky medical-cannabis cardholders, since it remains a federal Schedule I substance.

Glass and aluminum containers and ice chests/coolers are not permitted inside the stadium.

Small collapsible strollers that fit under a stadium seat/row without blocking entry or exit are allowed; larger strollers and wagons are not addressed as permitted.

L&N Stadium does not allow guests to bring strollers into the stadium.

Breastfeeding/nursing equipment is treated as medically necessary and permitted through accessible entry gates; nursing mothers' suites are also available at the stadium.

Curtained lactation/breastfeeding areas are provided at the Customer Relations Booths (Sections 108, 120, 132), and diaper-changing stations are located in restrooms.

Wheelchairs, canes, and other medically necessary equipment are allowed and guests using them can enter through designated accessible Gates 1.5, 3.5, or 9.5.

Accessible seating with up to 3 companion seats, wheelchair storage/valet at gates, a dedicated Fan Assistance wheelchair-escort service, and Accessible Shuttle golf carts from the Bronze/Purple lots are all provided.

Skateboards, roller blades/skates/shoes, and hoverboards are explicitly prohibited.

Cameras and camera lenses are allowed, but lenses are limited to a maximum length of 6 inches and detachable lenses are not permitted.

Only handheld, non-professional-grade still cameras that fit in a purse or the palm of a hand are allowed; any camera with a detachable lens or any video equipment is denied entry.

The use of drones and other unmanned or remote-control aircraft is expressly prohibited both inside and in the vicinity of Kroger Field on gameday.

UofL Athletics prohibits the use of drones in or around all UofL athletic facilities and parking lots without written permission from both Athletics and the FAA.

Umbrellas may be brought into the stadium but cannot be opened in seating areas or other congested areas.

Umbrellas are explicitly listed as a prohibited item.

Artificial noisemakers, irritants, and laser pointers are prohibited, as are poles/extensions/selfie sticks; banners and signs are allowed only with prior UK Athletics approval and must not block other guests' sight lines.

Artificial noisemakers (air horns, whistles) are banned outright, and flags of any size are prohibited entirely; banners/signs are allowed if non-commercial and non-offensive and don't obstruct views, but affixing one to a railing or wall needs prior permission and management can confiscate any sign for any reason.

Personal seat/chair backs up to 18 inches wide are allowed (or rentable for $15 cash, while supplies last); blankets may be brought in draped over a shoulder or arm.

All weapons, including firearms carried concealed or openly, are prohibited at Kroger Field per Kentucky state law (KRS 237.115); violators will be denied entry.

Deadly weapons of any kind are prohibited on any UofL-owned or controlled property, including athletics facilities, under the university's official weapons policy, which is grounded in Kentucky's KRS 237.115 — the same statutory basis already documented for Kentucky Wildcats' Kroger Field.

All tobacco products and electronic cigarettes, including vapes, are prohibited both inside and outside on the University of Kentucky campus, including Kroger Field.

UofL is a tobacco-free campus; the policy bans cigarettes, e-cigarettes/vaporizers, cigars, pipes, smokeless tobacco, and hookahs everywhere on campus, extending to within 50 feet of any exterior stadium gate, with no designated smoking areas.

Pets are prohibited except for ADA-defined service animals; animals that solely provide emotional support or companionship are not permitted.

No pets or animals are allowed except service animals (e.g., guide dogs); therapy animals are explicitly excluded.

Guests are not permitted to exit and re-enter Kroger Field on the same ticket, per SEC policy.

A strict no re-entry policy is enforced — anyone leaving during an event needs a new ticket to return.

Also prohibited: fireworks/smoke bombs/flares, laser pointers, inflated footballs/balls of any kind, illegal drugs/chemicals, and unapproved pamphlets/handouts/vending.
