SeaWorld San Antonio

Conditional. Bags, backpacks, and purses are allowed but all bags and personal items are subject to security inspection before entry. SeaWorld San Antonio's official park policy states that all bags, strollers, and other personal items are subject to inspection. The park does not publish a specific bag size/dimension limit on its official pages — widely circulated third-party claims of a '16x16x8 inch' limit could not be verified against any official SeaWorld San Antonio source and were deliberately excluded.

Allowed. Guests may bring one bottle of water or a refillable water bottle; this is the sole exception to the no-outside-beverage rule. Max quantity: 1 bottle/refillable bottle per the stated exception.

Not Allowed. No outside food, beverages, or coolers may be brought into the park, aside from bottled or refillable water. Cafeteria-style dining and an Allergy-Friendly program are available inside the park. Exceptions: Exceptions may be requested in advance for guests with food allergies, other special dietary needs, or baby food/formula by emailing SWT.GuestCorrespondence@SeaWorld.com prior to the visit.

Conditional. Medical needs are generally accommodated: oxygen tanks may be brought into the park and enclosed facilities (though not onto rides), and medical dietary items/baby formula are allowed with prior arrangement. Oxygen tanks are not permitted on any attraction, but oxygen concentrators may be allowed on some rides if properly secured; oxygen tanks themselves are permitted inside shops, restaurants, and other enclosed park facilities. Exceptions: Guests should contact SWT.GuestCorrespondence@SeaWorld.com in advance for dietary/medical accommodation requests.

Not Allowed. Outside alcohol is not permitted, falling under the park's blanket ban on outside food and beverages; alcoholic beverages are sold inside the park.

Not Allowed. Large hard-sided or soft-sided coolers may not be brought into the park.

Conditional. Guests are welcome to bring their own strollers/wagons; they must fold up for storage and be parked outside stadiums and exhibits, or a rental stroller can be used instead. A limited number of strollers are available to rent, first-come first-served, at Island Traders just inside the Main Entrance, or via online reservation. Fee: Double stroller rental: $33.00.

Allowed. Guests may bring their own wheelchairs, ECVs, and rollator walkers; wheelchair and ECV rentals are also available. Rollator walkers are permitted but cannot substitute for a wheelchair/ECV, and guests may not be pushed while seated in one. Fee: Wheelchair rental $33.00; ECV with canopy rental $105.00. Exceptions: Two-wheeled, self-balancing electric vehicles such as Segways are not permitted.

Not Allowed. Two-wheeled, self-balancing electric vehicles such as Segways are not permitted anywhere at SeaWorld San Antonio. Standard wheelchairs and ECVs are offered as accessible alternatives.

Conditional. Cameras, phones, GoPros, and selfie sticks are allowed in the park but must be secured in a pocket, locker, or with a non-rider before boarding rides or entering ride queue lines. SeaWorld's verified corporate X (Twitter) account has stated guests may use GoPros and selfie sticks in the park as long as they respect guest/animal safety policies; such loose items are not permitted on rides or over animal habitats.

Not Allowed. Firearms and weapons of any kind are prohibited on SeaWorld San Antonio property.

Conditional. Smoking is permitted only in designated smoking areas marked on the park map. San Antonio's official FAQ addresses smoking specifically without separately naming vaping/e-cigarettes; other SeaWorld parks' pages explicitly extend the designated-area rule to vaping as well, though that wording was not found on San Antonio's own page.

Conditional. Costumes are not allowed during the Howl-O-Scream event; the general year-round park policy does not separately address costumes or masks outside of this event. Stated on the official Howl-O-Scream event page: 'No costumes are allowed.'

Pets are not allowed inside the park (free outdoor kennels are provided near the parking lot), but trained service animals — limited to dogs and miniature horses — are welcome; emotional support animals are not permitted. Service animals must remain leashed/harnessed, under control, and housebroken. Designated relief areas and a service-animal rest area (by Steel Eel/Shamu Smokehouse) are provided; service animals are permitted on select rides (Rio Loco, Big Bird's Spinning Reef, Grover's Round-Up).

SeaWorld San Antonio can activate a Chaperone Policy on select dates requiring every guest 17 or younger to be accompanied by a chaperone at least 21 years old (max 5 minors per chaperone, valid photo ID required). Chaperones must enter with their group, stay for the full visit, and remain reachable by phone; guests 18+ without a chaperone may be asked to show photo ID to verify age. Policy is activated at the park's discretion without prior notice. Max quantity: 1 chaperone per up to 5 minors.
