Alamodome

Conditional. Clear plastic/vinyl/PVC bags no larger than 12" x 6" x 12", or a small clutch up to 5.5" x 8.5", or a one-gallon freezer bag are allowed; all opaque bags, backpacks, purses, and camera bags are banned. Max size: 12" x 6" x 12" clear bag, or 5.5" x 8.5" clutch, or 1-gallon freezer bag.

Conditional. Parking is fee-based, priced event-by-event, with cashless payment only; Lots A/B/C open at 8am for permit holders and close 1 hour after the game; limited ADA parking is available first-come, first-served.

Not Allowed. Outside food and beverage are generally prohibited (except baby formula and diabetic-specific snacks); a separate general UTSA Athletics prohibited-items page states one sealed 1-liter water bottle is allowed, but this exception does not appear on the Alamodome's own venue-specific rules page, which controls actual entry screening as the operator. Exceptions: Baby formula and diabetic-specific snacks are allowed.

Allowed. Medically necessary bags/devices too large to fit standard bag-size limits are exempt from those limits but are subject to search; medications, pill bottles, epi-pens, inhalers, syringes, and diabetic snacks are separately allowed regardless of bag size.

Not Allowed. BYOB functions are not permitted; alcohol is sold only by licensed vendors at applicable events, and sales to minors are prohibited.

Not Allowed. Coolers, ice chests, and thermoses are prohibited inside; motorized coolers are also banned in tailgating lots.

Conditional. Strollers are permitted but must be checked at Guest Services (North/South Plaza) and are not allowed in the seating bowl; wagons, personal carts, and other large rolling devices are prohibited.

Allowed. Wheelchairs are accommodated, with a limited number of on-site wheelchairs available with escort from entrance to seat.

Not Allowed. Segways, skateboards, and hoverboards are prohibited inside; golf carts, motorized coolers, and bicycles are also banned in tailgating lots.

Conditional. Small personal cameras are allowed; professional cameras, interchangeable-lens cameras, or fixed lenses 3 inches or longer are prohibited, along with tripods, monopods, and selfie sticks. Max size: Camera lens: under 3 inches.

Not Allowed. Unmanned aircraft systems and remote-control model aircraft are prohibited.

Conditional. Umbrellas are allowed under one's seat if not blocking others' foot space, or can be checked at Guest Services.

Conditional. Artificial noisemakers are banned; handheld signs and posters are allowed if a reasonable size with no poles or sticks, but signs or flags larger than 3' x 2' are prohibited. Max size: Signs/flags: 3' x 2' maximum.

Not Allowed. Folding chairs and stools are prohibited; blankets are not addressed in any official source found.

Not Allowed. Weapons are banned at all high school, collegiate, and professional sporting events held at the Alamodome, even for concealed-handgun permit holders. Because the Alamodome is City-owned rather than university property, Texas's campus-carry law does not apply here; instead, Texas Penal Code §46.03 independently bans weapons at any professional/collegiate/interscholastic sporting-event venue regardless of ownership.

Not Allowed. The facility is fully tobacco/smoke-free, including e-cigarettes, vapes, and smokeless tobacco, per City of San Antonio designation, with no designated smoking areas and the ban extending 300 feet outside the building.

Conditional. ADA service animals are always welcome; other animals are barred except at pre-approved contracted events, and are never permitted within 50 feet of food-service areas.

Not Allowed. The Alamodome has a no re-entry policy.

Conditional. All guests are screened via walk-through metal detectors (pocket contents may stay in pockets), with secondary hand-wand screening available; the facility is fully cashless for parking and concessions.
