Conditional. One clear plastic/vinyl/PVC bag no larger than 12" x 6" x 12" (or a clear 1-gallon freezer bag) is allowed per guest, plus a small clutch up to 6.5" x 4.5"; no backpacks, large purses, camera bags, or coolers. Max size: 12" x 6" x 12" clear bag or 1-gallon clear freezer bag; clutch up to 6.5" x 4.5".

Allowed. One sealed bottle of water per person is permitted; empty bottles or thermoses up to 32oz are also permitted and can be refilled at stadium water stations. Max quantity: 1 sealed bottle per person.

Not Allowed. Outside food is prohibited except for the permitted water bottle allowance, with exceptions for documented medical or special needs. Exceptions: Documented medical/special-needs exceptions available.

Conditional. Medically necessary items are permitted after inspection at the gate; fans are advised to carry documentation and allow extra time for screening.

Not Allowed. Drones and other unmanned aerial vehicles are prohibited inside the stadium and in the surrounding parking-lot/tailgate areas.

Not Allowed. Umbrellas are prohibited inside Carter-Finley Stadium, with no storage available; fans are directed to use rain gear or ponchos instead.

Conditional. Artificial noisemakers are prohibited; flags/signs/banners are permitted if 3' x 2' or smaller, don't obstruct views, have no poles or sticks, and meet a community decency standard — they cannot be hung inside the stadium. Max size: Signs/banners/flags: 3' x 2' maximum.

Weapons are prohibited and enforced with walk-through weapons-detection systems installed at every stadium gate in 2024, backed by a university-wide firearms ban and North Carolina's felony-level educational-property weapons law (N.C.G.S. § 14-269.2), which carries no concealed-carry-permit exception at college athletic events.

Conditional. Smoking and vaping are prohibited in Vaughn Towers, the seating bowl, concourses, and restrooms; permitted only in designated smoking areas at Gates 2 and 8, with violators subject to ejection.

Conditional. Service animals, including service dogs in training, are explicitly permitted for guests with disabilities; emotional support animals are explicitly not permitted.

Conditional. Pass-outs are available at all gates starting with 5 minutes left in the 2nd quarter; the fan must retain both their ticket and the pass-out stub, and re-entry is subject to a full search. Pass-outs stop being issued at the start of the 3rd quarter.
