Universal Epic Universe

Bags, backpacks, and purses are allowed but subject to X-ray and/or physical inspection; wheeled bags/suitcases are prohibited.

This is a resort-wide Universal Orlando policy applying to all parks including Epic Universe. No maximum size is stated for general bags.

Exceptions: Suitcases and wheeled bags are not permitted regardless of size.

Guests may bring bottled water in, up to 2 liters per person.

General outside food and beverages are prohibited, but exceptions are made for medical needs, special diets, and baby food/formula.

Permitted food can't require heating/refrigeration or be in glass containers.

Medically necessary food, supplements, and medical supplies are permitted despite the general outside-food ban.

Outside alcohol may not be brought in; alcohol is sold inside the parks/CityWalk.

Only small soft-sided coolers are allowed; hard-sided coolers are banned entirely.

Strollers are allowed and can be rented on-site for $40/day.

Universal's official policy page does not state a stroller/wagon size limit — the claim that it publishes none (unlike Disney) comes from a stroller-rental aggregator site, flagged as a last resort.

Epic Universe has its own Family Care Center, located adjacent to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter — Ministry of Magic; all restrooms have diaper-changing stations.

Wheelchairs and ECVs are permitted and can be rented at park entrances.

Power-driven or radio-frequency-controlled devices such as hoverboards, e-scooters, and Segways are prohibited except when used as an ADA mobility device.

Exceptions: Devices used strictly as mobility aids for a disability.

Handheld cameras and phones are generally allowed, but loose articles including cameras must be secured or left with a non-rider on most attractions.

Umbrellas may be brought in but count as a loose article that must be secured or left with a non-rider on most attractions.

Folding chairs are explicitly prohibited.

Blankets aren't separately addressed in official materials.

Explosives, weapons, and any item that can be used as or resembles a weapon are prohibited — including costume props shaped like weapons.

Smoking and vaping are only permitted in designated outdoor smoking areas.

Epic Universe's designated smoking area is near the park exit by the restrooms.

Exceptions: Designated outdoor smoking areas only.

Adult costumes are allowed within size limits, but costume masks, veils, and long trains are not permitted (medical face coverings excepted).

Only trained service animals (meeting the legal ADA definition) are permitted; pets are not allowed.
