Tropicana Field

Conditional. Only clear bags are allowed, plus one small non-clear clutch, with exceptions for medical and diaper bags. One clear bag (plastic, vinyl, or soft PVC) per person, single compartment, no obscured interior pockets. Clear 1-gallon reusable storage bags are also acceptable. Backpacks, luggage, computer/camera bags, briefcases, and hard-sided bags/boxes/containers are prohibited outright, regardless of size. Max size: Clear bag: 12" x 6" x 12"; non-clear clutch/fanny pack/wallet: 5" x 7"; diaper/infant bag exception: 16" x 8" x 16". Max quantity: 1 clear bag + 1 small clutch, or 1 medical bag, or 1 diaper bag per person. Exceptions: One bag exclusively carrying necessary medical equipment; one diaper/infant bag (up to 16"x8"x16") in the presence of a baby or toddler

Conditional. One sealed, personal-sized bottle of water (20 oz. or less) is permitted per ticketed fan. Stainless steel, metal, ceramic, and glass bottles are not permitted. An empty plastic refillable cup or empty plastic refillable water bottle (may have a lid and straw) is allowed for use at in-ballpark hydration stations. Max quantity: 1 sealed bottle (20 oz. or less) per person.

Conditional. Outside food and beverage are not permitted, aside from one sealed personal water bottle, with exceptions for medical or childcare needs. The official Food Policy entry states outside food or beverage is not permitted except for one sealed, personal-sized water bottle. Exceptions can be made for food specifically needed for medical reasons or childcare. Exceptions: Food needed for medical reasons or childcare (e.g., baby food)

Allowed. Bags exclusively carrying necessary medical equipment are exempt from the clear-bag policy, and food needed for medical reasons is exempt from the outside-food ban.

Not Allowed. Outside alcohol may not be brought in (or taken out), and in-park purchases are limited to two per person with ID required. Guests may not bring alcoholic beverages into Tropicana Field, nor take any out, including from suites. Proper ID is required for purchase; Florida's legal drinking age is 21. Alcohol sales stop in the middle of the 8th inning. Max quantity: 2 alcoholic beverages per person, per purchase.

Not Allowed. No cannabis carve-out exists; the ballpark's smoke-free policy bans all smoking with no exception for marijuana, and recreational cannabis remains illegal under Florida law. The official smoking policy states Tropicana Field is smoke-free with no smoking areas of any kind, inside or outside — a blanket ban that includes no stated allowance for medical or recreational cannabis.

Not Allowed. Hard-sided coolers, boxes, or cases of any size are prohibited. The official Prohibited Items list bans hard-sided coolers, boxes, or cases of any size. Soft-sided coolers are not separately addressed, but are moot in practice since outside food/drink beyond one sealed water bottle is not permitted anyway.

Allowed. Strollers are permitted if they can be stored under a seat; otherwise they must be checked at a food hall, and are barred from escalators. Strollers may not block walkways or aisles. If a stroller cannot fit beneath the seat, it must be checked at the First or Third Base Food Hall under the escalator. The Rays are not responsible for lost or damaged strollers. Wagons are not separately addressed in official Rays materials.

Allowed. A private nursing/pumping room is available behind home plate at the Orlando Health Fan Care Clinic. Keypad-locked room, sanitized after each use. A breast pump would also qualify as a medical-equipment bag, exempt from the clear-bag size/transparency rules.

Allowed. Wheelchairs, walkers, and other mobility devices are welcome; a complimentary wheelchair transport service is also offered. Devices must be parked at the 1st or 3rd Base Food Hall if they can't be stored safely under the fan's seat, and are prohibited on escalators. The 'Rolling Rays' wheelchair transport service (gate-to-seat and seat-to-gate assistance) is available at Gates 1 and 5, first-come first-served; wheelchairs are not available for rent/borrow.

Not Allowed. Bicycles, skateboards, roller blades, hoverboards, and wheeled footwear are all prohibited.

Conditional. Hand-held personal cameras and video recorders are allowed for non-commercial use; tripods and long lenses are banned. Cameras/video recorders must be hand-held (tripods prohibited) and must not obstruct aisles or other fans' views. Use must be private/non-commercial. Max size: Lenses must be under 12 inches.

Not Allowed. Drones and radio-controlled devices are prohibited.

Allowed. Umbrellas are permitted but must be stored under a seat during the game; umbrella bags are provided at gates when needed.

Conditional. Baseball-related banners, signs, and flags are allowed, but bullhorns, air horns, whistles, and other loud noisemakers are banned (small cowbells remain a Rays exception). Banners/signs/flags are permitted if baseball-related, don't interfere with the field or other signage, and don't obstruct other fans' views; derogatory language/symbols are not allowed and management can remove any sign. Prohibited noisemakers include bullhorns, percussion instruments, air horns, and whistles. Poles, sticks/clubs, and pom-poms with stick handles are separately banned. Exceptions: Small cowbells are explicitly still allowed, per Rays tradition

Not Allowed. Weapons of any kind, including firearms, knives, and chemical sprays larger than 0.6 oz., are prohibited.

Not Allowed. Tropicana Field is a smoke-free facility with no designated smoking areas anywhere, inside or outside. All tobacco products, e-cigarettes, vapes, and chewing tobacco are banned property-wide under City Ordinance Section 20-124. The current official guide explicitly states there are no 'Smoking Areas' inside or outside the ballpark (superseding any older policy referencing outdoor smoking zones).

Conditional. Pets are prohibited except for ADA-defined service animals, which are welcome at all games. Animals are barred except on specific promotional dates (e.g., Dog Day). Service animals are permitted per the U.S. DOJ Civil Rights Division definition. Note: the ballpark has a no re-entry policy at all gates, so fans needing a service-animal relief area must ask staff to escort them out. Exceptions: Service animals; special team-sanctioned pet-friendly game dates

Not Allowed. Tropicana Field has a no re-entry policy at all gates. Confirmed in the official Accessibility Guide's Service Animal entry, which notes there is a no-reentry policy at all gates (relevant for fans needing to exit for a service-animal relief area).

Conditional. Additional banned items include audio speakers, lasers, bats, brooms over 3 feet, wrapped packages, footwear with wheels, fireworks/explosives, and aerosol cans. Full official prohibited-items list also bars: items that could be projectiles, radio-controlled devices, and any item deemed a risk to health/safety or that cannot be screened. Brooms shorter than 3 feet are allowed. Prohibited items are not stored — they must be returned to a vehicle or will be discarded. Max size: Brooms must be under 36" to be allowed.
