Protective Stadium

Conditional. One clear plastic/vinyl/PVC bag per guest, no larger than 12" x 6" x 12" and not tinted; non-clear bags are allowed only if 5" x 7" or smaller. Max size: 12" x 6" x 12" (clear bag); non-clear max 5" x 7".

Conditional. Six BJCC lots serve the stadium, cashless payment only, pre-purchasable via BJCCParking.com. UAB's 2026 season parking pass is $120 through the Athletics Ticket Office; ADA parking (Lot P5) is $20/game with a valid ADA placard. Fee: $120 season (UAB pass); $20/game ADA.

Conditional. Non-glass water bottles 32oz or smaller are permitted if empty upon entry; free-fill hydration stations are available on the concourse. Max quantity: 32oz max, must be empty.

Not Allowed. Outside food and beverages of any kind are prohibited from entering the stadium; concessions are cashless.

Conditional. Medical bags or special medical equipment can be screened at any gate entrance and are tagged as medical-approved after inspection, serving as an exception to the clear-bag rule.

Conditional. Alcoholic beverages may not be brought into the stadium. Concession purchases are capped at 2 drinks per transaction with valid ID required, ending in the 3rd quarter for football.

Not Allowed. Coolers, ice chests, and thermos containers are not permitted inside the stadium.

Conditional. Professional photography and recording equipment are not permitted without an approved media credential; tripods, monopods, and selfie sticks are explicitly prohibited.

Not Allowed. Drones, model aircraft, kites, and other remote-controlled or tethered flying objects are not permitted on the BJCC Complex.

Conditional. Small foldable umbrellas that fit inside the approved clear bag are permitted but may not be opened once inside the stadium.

Conditional. Signs/banners must not exceed 11" x 17" and may not be attached to a stick or pole; bullhorns and other noisemakers are explicitly prohibited. Max size: Signs/banners: 11" x 17" max.

Conditional. Stadium seats without armrests are allowed; seats with armrests, stools, and folding chairs are prohibited. Blankets are not separately addressed.

Not Allowed. Weapons and firearms of all kinds are prohibited, including for off-duty law enforcement; knives, brass knuckles, stun guns, pepper spray, tear gas, explosives, and fireworks are also explicitly listed.

Not Allowed. Protective Stadium is a non-smoking facility; smoking, including electronic cigarettes and vaporizers, is prohibited.

Conditional. Trained guide, signal, and service animals assisting guests with disabilities are permitted; regular pets are prohibited.

Not Allowed. Guests may not exit and re-enter the stadium using the same ticket; a valid, unscanned ticket is required for every entry.
