Bryant-Denny Stadium

Conditional. Only small clear bags or a small clutch are allowed; all other bags, including backpacks and diaper bags, are prohibited. Clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bags no larger than 12" x 6" x 12", or a one-gallon clear plastic freezer (Ziploc-style) bag, are permitted, either alone or along with one small non-clear clutch purse (4.5" x 6.5" or smaller, with or without strap/handle). Max size: 12" x 6" x 12" (clear bag); 4.5" x 6.5" (non-clear clutch). Exceptions: Medically necessary bags/items are exempted from the size restrictions.

Conditional. An empty, non-glass bottle or cup may be brought in and filled at free water stations inside. Bottles or cups containing any liquid, even if unopened, are not permitted through security — only empty, non-glass containers are allowed, which can then be filled at water stations/fountains throughout the concourse.

Not Allowed. Outside food and drink are not allowed inside the stadium. Outside food and beverages are prohibited; exceptions are made for approved medically necessary snack items. Exceptions: Medically necessary food items are permitted with an exception process.

Allowed. Medically necessary items, including bags/snacks that would otherwise violate size rules, are permitted with an exception. Both the bag policy and the outside food/drink ban carry explicit exceptions for medically necessary items.

Not Allowed. Outside alcohol is prohibited, but Alabama now sells beer and wine inside the stadium (21+, not in the student section). Since the 2022 season, beer and wine have been sold in stadium concourses/portable stands to guests 21+ with valid ID, limited to two alcoholic beverages per transaction; sales end at the conclusion of the third quarter; alcohol may not be carried between premium and concourse areas or out of the stadium; alcohol sales remain prohibited in the student section. Max quantity: 2 alcoholic beverages per transaction. Exceptions: In-stadium purchase from concessions is allowed; bringing your own alcohol is not.

Not Allowed. Coolers of any kind are prohibited.

Not Allowed. Strollers and car seats are not permitted inside the stadium.

Conditional. A dedicated nursing mothers' area is available on gamedays, and breast pump equipment qualifies for the bag policy's medical exception. For the 2024 season, the university designated a nursing mother's area on the southeast corner of the Quad near the stadium; medically necessary items (including breast pump gear) are exempt from standard bag size limits.

Conditional. ADA-compliant wheelchairs and mobility scooters are allowed; non-ADA mobility devices are prohibited. Bryant-Denny Stadium offers accessible seating sections, and complimentary wheelchair escort service is available by calling the stadium's accessibility line or visiting the First Aid Room in Section N at Gate 13.

Conditional. Personal-use still cameras are allowed, but lenses over 6 inches, camcorders/video recorders, tripods, and selfie sticks are not. Guests may use still cameras for personal use, but cameras with telephoto lenses (detachable or not) longer than 6 inches, and separate video recording equipment, are prohibited. Max size: 6-inch max lens length.

Not Allowed. Drones and other unmanned/remote-controlled aircraft are strictly prohibited in and around the stadium on gameday. University policy requires FAA, university, and air traffic control approval for any drone flight over campus; operators face potential fines, federal criminal prosecution, and confiscation of the device.

Not Allowed. Umbrellas are not allowed inside the stadium. Banned for safety and line-of-sight reasons.

Not Allowed. Artificial noisemakers, signs, and sign supports/placards are prohibited. The official prohibited items list bars artificial noisemakers (bells, horns, whistles, cow bells, etc.), signs, and supports/poles for signs and placards.

Conditional. Small seat cushions/pads without pockets, zippers, or compartments are allowed; large cushions or chairbacks over single-seat width are not. Chairbacks/seat backs may not exceed the width of a single seat (roughly 16 inches) and cannot have zippers, pockets, or compartments. Max size: ~16 inches wide (single seat width).

Not Allowed. Weapons and firearms of any kind are strictly prohibited. Prohibited items include firearms, gun parts/holsters/magazines, toy guns, knives, ammunition, mace/pepper spray, and any other item deemed a potential safety hazard.

Not Allowed. Smoking and vaping are prohibited everywhere on campus, including the stadium. Effective January 1, 2015, the University of Alabama became a smoke-free campus, prohibiting smoking (including e-cigarettes/vaping) in all facilities, grounds, and parking areas.

Conditional. Pets are not allowed, but service animals performing a task are permitted. Animals other than service animals actively performing their duties are prohibited inside the stadium. Exceptions: Service animals only; emotional support animals do not qualify.

Not Allowed. No re-entry is allowed once a guest leaves the stadium. In accordance with University of Alabama and SEC policy, once a ticket holder exits Bryant-Denny Stadium, they will not be readmitted.

Allowed. Bryant-Denny Stadium is a fully cashless facility. There are no ATMs inside the stadium and no cash is accepted; all concessions and retail purchases must be made with a credit or debit card.
