Oracle Park

Conditional. Backpacks (including clear backpacks) are banned outright, but any other bag up to 16"x16"x8" is allowed and does not need to be clear. Accommodations are made for diaper bags, medical bags, and guests with accessible needs as exceptions to the backpack ban; otherwise the backpack ban is strictly enforced with no exceptions. All bags are subject to inspection. Paid on-site bag storage is available at the Marina Gate (behind center field), open from gate-opening until one hour after the game ends. Max size: 16" x 16" x 8" (non-backpack bags only). Exceptions: Diaper bags, medical bags, and ADA-related bags are exempt from the backpack ban.

Conditional. Sealed plastic water bottles and soft-sided juice containers are permitted; unsealed containers are inspected and may be confiscated. Glass bottles and aluminum cans (including hydroflasks/aluminum bottles) are not permitted regardless of contents. No specific volume/size limit is stated in official Giants materials. Exceptions: Alcoholic beverages and non-alcoholic beer/wine are banned in any container.

Conditional. Outside food and beverage is permitted everywhere except Luxury Suites; fans with dietary restrictions/allergies are specifically encouraged to bring their own food. Beverages brought in must be in sealed containers. No alcohol, glass, aluminum, or hard-sided coolers are allowed with outside food. Exceptions: Not permitted in Luxury Suites.

Allowed. Medical bags are explicitly exempted from the backpack ban, and a First Aid Station on the Promenade Level (behind Section 132) is staffed by physicians, nurses, and EMS personnel during all games, with ambulance service available for emergencies.

Not Allowed. Outside alcohol, including non-alcoholic beer and wine, is not permitted into Oracle Park. Alcohol sold inside is capped at a two-drink limit per person per purchase, general-concession sales stop at the end of the 8th inning, and guests may not leave the ballpark with alcoholic beverages (including unopened bottles/cans bought in Suites). Sales can be halted at management's discretion.

Not Allowed. Marijuana is explicitly listed as a prohibited item, alongside illegal drugs generally. Despite California's recreational-cannabis legalization, Oracle Park bans cannabis outright at the gate — matching the same hard-line stance already documented at Petco Park and Dodger Stadium, both also in-state.

Conditional. Hard-sided coolers are banned outright; soft-sided coolers are permitted only if they fit within the standard 16"x16"x8" bag-size limit. Max size: 16" x 16" x 8" (soft-sided only).

Conditional. Strollers are welcome; foldable strollers should be stored under the seat, and non-folding strollers can be checked free of charge at the Guest Services Station behind home plate. Storage space for non-folding strollers is limited, so the Giants encourage bringing small, foldable strollers when possible. Wagons are not specifically addressed anywhere in official Giants materials.

Allowed. A dedicated Nursing Room, presented by UCSF Health, is located behind home plate on the Club Level and open to all ticket holders; three wheelchair-accessible Nursing Pods (with seating, a mirror, and an outlet) are also located around the ballpark, accessible via door code from nearby staff. Nursing Pod locations: below the centerfield bleachers near the Garden, outside the Willie Mays elevator lobby behind home plate (2nd level), the Club Level Guest Services desk behind home plate (3rd level), and outside Section 317/318 (View Level). Open from gates-open until the end of the game.

Allowed. Wheelchairs and mobility devices are welcomed; guests with strollers or wheelchairs enter through a barrier-free gate and are checked with a handheld wand instead of walking through the Evolv/magnetometer units. Oracle Park offers wheelchair escort service and wheelchair storage, accessible seating on every level, elevators/ramps at the main gates, and assistive listening devices available at no charge (credit card or photo ID required as deposit).

Conditional. Electric scooters and hoverboards are banned outright, but non-electric skateboards and scooters are allowed if they can be conveniently and safely stored under the seat; riding a skateboard or scooter anywhere inside Oracle Park is prohibited.

Conditional. Personal cameras and video equipment are allowed, but may not obstruct the view of other guests. Filming or rebroadcasting game footage for commercial purposes without written permission from the Giants and MLB is prohibited, and the Giants reserve the right to require guests to put cameras/video equipment away.

Not Allowed. Drones (Unmanned Aircraft Systems) cannot be flown near Oracle Park before, during, or after Giants games. This rests on the federal FAA rule restricting drone flights within a 3-nautical-mile radius of any stadium seating 30,000+ people, from one hour before first pitch until one hour after the game ends, unless the FAA has issued an approved airspace waiver for event/broadcast operations.

Conditional. Umbrellas are permitted, but may not obstruct the view of other guests.

Conditional. Noisemakers of any kind (e.g., air horns) are banned outright; banners, flags, and signs are permitted but may be removed if they're not baseball-related, are offensive/political/commercial, exceed 3 feet in height, are affixed to ballpark structures, block sightlines/signage, or are displayed while the game is in progress. Max size: Banners/flags/signs: 3 feet in height max.

Conditional. Folding chairs and lawn chairs are not permitted, but blankets are allowed as long as they are worn or carried into the ballpark rather than packed inside a bag.

Not Allowed. Weapons of any kind are banned, including for off-duty law enforcement and licensed CCW permit holders. The only exception is on-duty law enforcement personnel working in a pre-approved event-day capacity assigned to the event; this off-duty-officer ban is per a directive from the San Francisco Police Department. Props resembling weapons (knives, swords, guns, etc.) are separately banned under the Costumes policy.

Not Allowed. Oracle Park is a Smoke-Free ballpark under San Francisco City Ordinance; electronic cigarettes, vaporizers, and smokeless tobacco are all included in the prohibition.

Conditional. Costume masks may be worn but must be removed during the security screening process; costume accessories may be subject to additional inspection. Exceptions: Props resembling weapons (knives, swords, guns, etc.) are not allowed regardless of costume context, and the Giants may deny entry or eject anyone wearing a costume deemed inappropriate, without refund guarantee.

Conditional. Service animals are welcome, and unlike many venues, Oracle Park also permits emotional support and comfort animals as long as they don't pose a safety/security risk or disrupt other guests. All animals must be harnessed, leashed, or tethered unless it would interfere with a service animal's work. Guests needing to let their animal relieve itself may exit and re-enter, subject to re-screening (hand-stamp required before exiting).

Conditional. Re-entry is generally not permitted, but exceptions are made for medical or ADA needs, subject to re-screening by security at any entry gate. Guests exiting under a medical/ADA exception should have their ticket or hand stamped by security personnel before exiting; all re-entering guests are re-screened.

Not Allowed. The official prohibited-items list also bars: aerosol cans of any kind (including sunblock, hairspray, pepper spray), beach balls, culturally insensitive attire, fireworks, illegal drugs, laser pointers, nets/ropes/devices used to retrieve objects from the field, and any other sharp objects posing a safety hazard. The Giants reserve discretion to prohibit additional items not explicitly listed.
