Clarence T.C. Ching Athletics Complex

Conditional. One clear bag no larger than 12" x 6" x 12" is allowed per person; exceptions for a clutch purse up to 5.5" x 8.5" or 3" x 4". All non-conforming bags, including backpacks, purses, camera bags, and binocular cases, are prohibited. Max size: 12" x 6" x 12" clear bag; clutch up to 5.5" x 8.5" or 3" x 4".

Conditional. Lower Campus (Zone 20) parking must be pre-purchased online starting at $30; Upper Campus general parking is $15, card/mobile only; an Upper Campus Zone 13 tailgate pass must also be pre-purchased. Gates open 4 hours before kickoff. Fee: $30 Lower Campus; $15 Upper Campus general.

Not Allowed. Reusable water bottles (Hydro Flask, Yeti, Takeya, Thermos, etc.) are explicitly prohibited; vendor-sold bottled water is available inside.

Not Allowed. Outside food and beverages are prohibited in the complex; concessions operate inside.

Conditional. Outside alcohol is prohibited; canned alcoholic beverages are sold by hawking vendors, credit-card only, one drink per wristbanded guest per purchase, ID-checked, with sales ending before the 4th quarter.

Hawaii Revised Statutes §134-9.1 independently bans firearms, licensed or not, at any stadium or sporting-event venue and separately at the campus or premises of any college or university, including athletic fields — both provisions cover this on-campus venue, under a law expanded to campuses statewide by 2023's Act 52, effective January 1, 2024.

Not Allowed. Tobacco products, electronic cigarettes, and vapes are explicitly prohibited, including in tailgating areas.

Conditional. Pets are prohibited except service animals.

Re-entry is allowed at designated gates throughout the complex, per the actively-maintained football-specific gameday page (a separately templated venue page states no re-entry, but that text sits in a section mislabeling the venue as the on-campus baseball stadium, and is treated as a site error rather than a genuine policy). Exceptions: A conflicting, apparently mistemplated page exists; the football-specific gameday page is treated as authoritative.

Conditional. A free pregame "Rooftop Pa'ina" event runs 3 hours before kickoff on the Zone 20 parking structure rooftop; tailgating is permitted only in designated UH Manoa campus areas, with smoking/vaping/alcohol/cooking devices banned in tailgate lots (eating inside a vehicle is permitted).
