Busch Gardens Williamsburg

Conditional. Bags and backpacks are allowed and subject to inspection, but luggage, coolers, and any bags with wheels are not permitted. During Howl-O-Scream events, no bags of any kind are permitted after 4pm; only wristlets/fanny packs under 8"x5" are allowed then, subject to inspection.

Allowed. One bottle of water per person is allowed to be brought into the park.

Conditional. Single-serve snacks of about 2oz or less are allowed; hard/soft coolers, glass containers, and picnic-style meals are not. Exceptions: Guests with medical diets or baby formula should speak with a Team Member for assistance before entering the park.

Allowed. Oxygen tanks are permitted inside the park, including in merchandise shops, restaurants, and other enclosed facilities; medical equipment/medication accommodations are available on request. Exceptions: Oxygen tanks are restricted from most rides except Busch Gardens Railroad, Carousel (bench only), Rhine River Cruise, and Skyride; oxygen concentrators may be permitted on some rides if securable.

Not Allowed. Outside alcohol may not be brought into the park (covered under the no-outside-food/beverage rule); alcohol is available for purchase inside.

Not Allowed. Hard and soft coolers are not permitted inside the park.

Conditional. Guests are welcome to use their own personal strollers and may join any admissions line to enter the park; double-stroller rentals are also available. Official sources confirm personal strollers explicitly; wagons are not explicitly addressed in official park policy.

Allowed. Dedicated nursing rooms with sinks and seating are available at multiple locations throughout the park. Locations include Land of the Dragons (Lost Children area), Italy (near Marco Polo's Marketplace), New France, Sesame Street Forest of Fun, and a private room within the Das Festhaus restroom.

Allowed. Guests may use their own wheelchairs or Electric Convenience Vehicles (ECVs), which may also join any ticketing/turnstile line; rentals are available. Exceptions: Rollator walkers are permitted but guests may not be pushed while seated in one, and it cannot substitute for a wheelchair/ECV.

Not Allowed. Two-wheeled, self-balancing electric vehicles such as Segways are not permitted, due to pathway configurations, terrain, and crowd size. Exceptions: ECVs and standard wheelchairs are offered as alternative personal transportation.

Conditional. Personal cameras are generally fine, but unsecured cameras, selfie sticks, and hand-held extension poles are prohibited on rides; hands-free chest/wrist-mounted cameras require a 3+ point harness and Park Operations Manager approval. Hands-free/action camera use is otherwise restricted to the Skyride, Busch Gardens Railway, and Rhine River Cruise.

Not Allowed. Firearms, ammunition, knives, and weapons of any kind are prohibited, as are self-defense or restraining devices such as pepper spray or mace.

Conditional. Smoking and vaping are only permitted in specific designated outdoor smoking locations throughout the park; all indoor areas are smoke-free.

Conditional. Costumes and masks are not permitted in the park. Exceptions: Children under 9 attending The Count's Spooktacular Halloween event may wear costumes.

Conditional. Pets are not allowed in the park; trained service animals (limited to dogs and miniature horses) are permitted and must remain leashed/harnessed and under handler control. Exceptions: Emotional support animals are not permitted. A climate-controlled boarding kennel is available in the parking lot for pets.

Conditional. Guests leaving the park and returning the same day should have their hand stamped for re-admittance, and must present photo ID when re-entering.

Not Allowed. Laser pointers and radios/other electronic devices are prohibited park-wide, and guests must wear appropriate clothing (shirts, shoes, and pants required at all times; no suggestive/explicit clothing).
