SECU Stadium

Conditional. Clear plastic/vinyl/PVC bag no larger than 12" x 6" x 12", or a 1-gallon clear Ziploc-style bag, or a small clutch up to 4.5" x 6.5" is allowed; purses, backpacks, non-clear drawstring bags, briefcases, coolers, fanny packs, luggage, and camera/binocular/diaper bags are barred. Max size: 12" x 6" x 12" clear bag, or 1-gallon clear Ziploc-style bag, or 4.5" x 6.5" clutch. Exceptions: Medically necessary non-compliant bags/equipment allowed after check-in with a gate supervisor, subject to search and tagging.

Conditional. Glass bottles, cans, and other beverage containers are barred, but one factory-sealed plastic or empty metal water bottle per fan is allowed. Max quantity: 1 bottle per person. Exceptions: Medical/special-needs exceptions apply.

Not Allowed. Outside food or drink of any kind is a listed prohibited item, with an exception for medical requirements or special needs. Exceptions: Medical/special-needs exception.

Conditional. Medically necessary non-compliant bags or equipment, such as insulin coolers, are allowed after checking in with event staff or a supervisor for search and tagging; guests unable to undergo standard metal detection get an alternative screening process.

Not Allowed. Bringing alcohol in or out of the stadium is prohibited, with ejection/arrest/ticket revocation as possible consequences; beer, wine, and canned cocktails are sold inside instead, limited to 2 drinks per transaction with ID check, sales ending at the end of the 3rd quarter.

Not Allowed. The University of Maryland is a Cannabis-Free Campus: all cannabis, recreational or medical, is banned campus-wide and at university-sponsored activities with no medical-card exemption, because federal law requires it regardless of Maryland's state-level legalization.

Not Allowed. Coolers are explicitly named in the prohibited-bags list.

Conditional. Strollers are permitted but must be checked for free at designated Stroller Check locations and are not allowed in the seating bowl; strollers larger than 31" x 52" are barred, and stroller wagons are not permitted at all. Conditional. Nursing mothers needing lactation accommodations are asked to email the athletics gameday staff in advance, and staff provide a private location to breastfeed or pump.

Allowed. Wheelchairs and mobility devices are allowed (fans bring their own); free personal mobility device storage is offered near Gates F/G, and priority ADA/family entry lanes exist at Gates B, E, F, and I.

Not Allowed. Skateboards and bicycles are explicitly listed as prohibited items.

Conditional. Point-and-shoot still cameras without detachable lenses are allowed; flash photography, video cameras/camcorders/GoPros, monopods, tripods, and selfie sticks are not allowed, and cameras with detachable lenses are separately prohibited.

Not Allowed. No Maryland Athletics page addresses drones specifically, but FAA regulation bans UAS/drone flight within a 3-nautical-mile radius of any NCAA Division I football stadium from 1 hour before to 1 hour after the game.

Conditional. Artificial noisemakers are prohibited outright; signs/flags are allowed only if handheld, event-related, non-commercial/non-political, not obstructing views, and not on a stick or pole, and may not be hung on the stadium structure.

Weapons (both real and facsimiles) and fireworks/firearms are listed prohibited items; the university's campuswide weapons policy bars carrying, possessing, or transporting firearms, replica firearms, BB/pellet guns, most knives, and explosives anywhere on university property, including personal vehicles on campus, with Maryland recognizing no right to carry a concealed or open firearm onto university property regardless of a state carry permit.

Not Allowed. The University of Maryland is a smoke-free campus; smoking is not permitted in SECU Stadium, and vaping/e-cigarettes are explicitly prohibited in SECU Stadium and other athletic venues.

Conditional. Pets and animals are barred generally; service animals and service animals in training for guests with disabilities are permitted, while emotional support animals are not generally allowed absent a case-by-case accommodation.

Not Allowed. No re-entry on the same ticket is allowed once a guest exits, except in an emergency with a gate supervisor's signature permitting re-entry at the same gate.
