Dooley Field at Sanford Stadium

Conditional. Bags must be clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC and no larger than 12"x6"x12"; a small clutch (up to 4.5"x6.5") and a one-gallon clear freezer bag are also allowed, but backpacks and non-clear bags are prohibited. Adopted in 2017 as part of an SEC-wide clear bag policy applied independently by UGA (not an NCAA mandate). Each ticketed guest may carry one large clear bag (12x6x12 tote OR one-gallon Ziploc-style bag) plus one small clutch purse. Clear bags may bear only one logo no larger than 4.5"x3.4". There is no bag-check facility at the stadium for non-medical reasons. Max size: 12"x6"x12" (clear tote) or 4.5"x6.5" (clutch). Max quantity: 1 clear bag + 1 small clutch per person. Exceptions: Non-conforming bags needed for medical reasons can be inspected and tagged at the Medical Bag Check locations at Gate 6 and Gate 10.

Conditional. One unopened bottle of water, 20 ounces or less, may be brought into the stadium. Max quantity: 1 bottle, 20 oz. or less.

Not Allowed. Outside food and drink are prohibited, aside from one unopened water bottle of 20 oz. or less; concessions (Aramark) are available throughout the stadium.

Allowed. Medically necessary bags or equipment that don't conform to the clear bag policy are allowed after inspection and tagging at designated Medical Bag Check locations at Gate 6 and Gate 10.

Not Allowed. Outside alcohol may not be brought in, but beer and seltzer are sold at concession stands throughout the stadium's general seating areas. Georgia was the last SEC school to allow general-seating alcohol sales, starting with its September 2024 home opener. Per UGAA's alcohol-sales guidelines, purchases require valid government ID (21+), are limited to two beverages per transaction, and sales cut off before the game ends per SEC game-management policy. Anyone caught bringing outside alcohol in is subject to ejection without refund.

Not Allowed. Coolers and ice chests are not allowed inside the stadium.

Not Allowed. Strollers are not allowed inside the stadium.

Allowed. Nursing/breast pumps are permitted inside the stadium, ideally carried in a clear bag; Mamava nursing pods are located at the Gate 2 elevator (100 Level) and outside Section 222. If a clear bag isn't practical for the pump, guests must enter through a Medical Bag Check location at Gate 6 or Gate 10. Mamava pod access code is 8008.

Allowed. Wheelchairs and mobility devices are accommodated, with designated wheelchair seating areas, accessible elevators for wheelchair patrons, and a free accessible shuttle from the Ramsey Center parking deck starting 3.5 hours before kickoff.

Conditional. Cameras are allowed, but cameras with detachable lenses and tripods/monopods are prohibited.

Not Allowed. Umbrellas are not allowed inside the stadium.

Not Allowed. Artificial noisemakers (air horns, cowbells, etc.) are not permitted, and holding, hanging, or displaying signs/banners on stadium walls, bleachers, ramps, or nearby areas is prohibited.

Conditional. Blankets may be carried into the stadium (e.g., over the shoulders); seat cushions/backs are allowed if no wider than 16" and without arms or pockets, but standard folding chairs and larger/armed seatbacks are prohibited. Max size: Seat cushion/back: no wider than 16", no arms or pockets.

Not Allowed. Weapons of any kind are prohibited inside the stadium.

Not Allowed. Sanford Stadium is entirely smoke- and tobacco-free; smoking (including e-cigarettes/vaping, per University System of Georgia's tobacco-product definition) is not permitted anywhere in the stadium, and there are no designated smoking areas. The 2025 A-Z Guide states: 'Smoking Areas: NONE. Smoking is not allowed in Sanford Stadium.' The ban was first adopted for the 2008 season and applies stadium-wide with no re-entry allowed for smoking breaks.

Conditional. Only service animals are permitted inside the stadium; all other animals are not allowed to enter.

Not Allowed. No re-entry is permitted at any gate; guests who leave the stadium must have a new ticket to be readmitted.

Not Allowed. Other prohibited items include laser pointers, thermos bottles, cans/bottles, infant seats, ice bags, and other hard-surfaced materials or food/drink containers that could be thrown onto the field.
